What Is Ethereum Classic?

Ethereum Classic is a fork of Ethereum that was born out of the DAO hack in 2016. Ethereum Classic rejected the measures to recover funds that were stolen in the hack, and continued on "the original" chain. Ethereum Classic still has many properties that Ethereum had in the past, such as a Proof of Work consensus mechanism based on Ethash. The native token of Ethereum Classic is ETC. What Are Permit Signatures?

Permit Signatures are used to grant token approvals without sending a transaction. Because these signatures are not stored on the blockchain, there is no way for Revoke.cash to know if you signed them. This page lists your tokens that support offchain Permit signatures.

Only if you know that you signed a Permit signature on a scam website, you need to cancel the potential signatures on this page, otherwise you are wasting transaction fees. When you cancel potential signatures for a token, they will remain in the list but cannot be cancelled again for some time.
