What Is Redstone?

Redstone is a Layer 2 blockchain that focuses on providing high throughput and low fees for gaming applications. It is built on Optimism's Open Source OP Stack, so just like Optimism it uses optimistic rollup technology. To achieve lower fees Redstone does not use Ethereum as its data-availability layer, but instead uses a custom data-availability layer. The native token of Redstone is ETH.
