Harvest Keeper Rug Pull
Check if your address is affected.
Harvest Keeper presented itself as an AI-powered trading platform that would remove the human factor from crypto trading. It promised extremely high returns, including a 101% return on investment within 21 days plus referral rewards, which is a common sign of a scam. Users deposited funds and approved their tokens so the platform could supposedly trade for them. In March 2023, within about a month of launching, the people behind Harvest Keeper disappeared with the money in what is known as a rug pull.
In total, over $930k was taken. Around $710k came from funds that users had deposited into the platform, which the scammers moved to themselves using a special function that only they could use. Another $219k was drained straight from users' wallets on BNB Chain, Ethereum and Polygon, using token approvals that users had given to an address controlled by the scammers. On 19 March 2023, security firm CertiK confirmed that Harvest Keeper was a scam and warned users to revoke their approvals and stay away from its website.
The listed address is a regular wallet controlled by the scammers rather than a smart contract, so any approval to it lets them take those tokens whenever they want. If you ever used Harvest Keeper, check your approvals on BNB Chain, Ethereum and Polygon and revoke any that point to this address. Revoking protects the tokens still in your wallet, but it does not bring back funds that were already taken. In general, be very careful with platforms that promise unusually high or guaranteed returns.
Affected users remain at risk as long as they haven't revoked their approvals, so it is recommended to use the Revoke.cash Exploit Checker below to make sure that you're safe.
