Evmos is an EVM compatible Layer 1 chain that was built using the Cosmos SDK. It was created to bring the rich EVM ecosystem to Cosmos, while providing an entry for the EVM community into the Cosmos ecosystem. As a part of the Cosmos ecosystem, Evmos is focused on cross-chain interoperability as opposed to the regular "siloed" blockchain approach. The native token of Evmos is EVMOS. Steps To Add Evmos to MetaMask
The process of adding Evmos to your wallet may be slightly different depending on the wallet you are using. The steps below are for MetaMask. If you are using a different wallet, there is most likely a similar process that you can follow.
1. Open your wallet and go to the "Add network" page.
2. Enter the required details and click "Save".
After entering all the required details, you can click "Save" to add Evmos to MetaMask.
